Weekly Update November 22 - November 28.

Greetings,

Yesterday we introduced our Thanksgiving patch that contained a lot of fun stuff in it. We initially wanted to include Relics too but we had some last minute issues, so we decided to prolong it for the next week. We're thankful for our community, and we hope you had the most amazing Turkey day ever!

Design team

The design department's time was split between finalizing relic buffs and New Player Experience improvements discussions. More specifically, we have identified a few core areas that we would like to improve on, those being the initial feel of the game in relation to character movement, responsiveness and controls, as well as the Tutorial area and information system. We are aiming at improving all these areas and tie them in with the upcoming Quests system so there have been various discussions revolving around these topics.

Art Team

Our Art team provided the cool content that you all enjoyed in Thanksgiving event. Also they finalized the effects and animations for the Relic patch.

Programming Team

Our dev team has been working hard on Relics and Quests. Some additional work has been done to the new inventory system. We also evaluated your feedback regarding player movement and we performed some changes in order to improve this aspect of the game. Also NPE is under the scope of the team, since its the number one priority that the team is determined to improve.

Quality Assurance Team

This week was heavy for the QA team, as Relics entered the final testing phase which turned out to be stressful due to numerous bugs that didn't allow us to let Relics in our latest patch. Quest testing was on the pipeline as well. Also the team has been evaluating your feedback regarding New Player Experience, and made some important recommendations to the designers. Thanksgiving patch also took some of the team's time.

Sound Team

Our Sound team finished the sounds for the Relic patch. Apart from that, they have another video coming up for the new trial system that we're still working on.
